Who we are

MyPropertyScan is a UK property risk report operated by BiteRight Ltd. For any UK address, it pulls together public datasets (flood risk, subsidence, EPC rating, tenure, crime, noise and air quality) into a plain-English buyer report: a free headline preview, with a one-time paid report for the full checks. We publish two open UK city-level indexes, the UK Subsidence Risk Index and the UK Property Flood Risk Index.

Figures you can cite

The statistics below are computed at build time directly from our published index datasets, so they stay in sync with the full rankings. Each one is sourced and can be quoted on its own.

Subsidence

Flood risk

Thurrock has the highest single-source flood-risk share of the 296 English local authorities ranked

Thurrock tops the UK Property Flood Risk Index (which ranks all 296 English local authorities; Welsh and Scottish authorities are outside the dataset), with 37.81% of properties in a High or Medium risk band from its dominant flood source alone (river/sea and surface-water shares are reported separately and can overlap, so single-source shares are not additive), driven by surface water flooding.
