What MyPropertyScan provides

MyPropertyScan generates property information summaries based on publicly available UK datasets where data is available for the address you provide. Reports are intended to support buyer due diligence , they give you a starting point for understanding potential risks and factors relevant to a property, and help you know what questions to ask and what to investigate further.

Not all data checks will return results for every address. Data availability depends on the coverage of the underlying public sources, which varies by property and location.

Before exchanging contracts on any property purchase, you should always commission a qualified surveyor, instruct a solicitor or conveyancer, and take any other professional advice that is relevant to your circumstances.

Data accuracy and availability

The report draws on publicly available datasets that may be incomplete, delayed, out of date, or unavailable for a given property. Risk indicators shown in the report are based on the data available at the time of the scan and are provided as guidance only, they may not reflect every relevant factor or current site-specific conditions.

You must not rely on a MyPropertyScan report as the sole basis for any decision about buying or not buying a property.

Payment

A free preview of your property scan is available without payment. The full report costs £12.99 and is processed securely by Stripe. There is no subscription.

Refunds

The full report is a digital product generated and delivered immediately on purchase. Because delivery begins at the point of payment, payments are generally non-refundable once the report has been generated or delivered, except where required by applicable law or in the event of a technical failure that prevented you from accessing the report. Liability

We make reasonable efforts to keep our data sources current and to present information accurately, but we cannot guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any third-party dataset. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BiteRight Ltd (the operator of MyPropertyScan) is not liable for any loss or damage arising from decisions made on the basis of a MyPropertyScan report.
